About
Good to meet you 🤝
I’m Sophie, an artist, writer, and digital marketer based in Chicago. Though unusual — as artists are notoriously poor marketers and vice versa — I’ve somehow found myself at this beautiful and challenging intersection of left-brain/right-brain creativity.
At the age of five, I knew I wanted to be an artist. Then, as I grew into my adolescence reading stacks of fashion magazines like Teen Vogue + Elle Girl (does that unlock core memories for you, too?), Tumblr blogs, and the Harry Potter series, I knew I wanted to write, too.
So, I studied communications at the University of Washington and received my Sales Certificate through UW’s Foster School of Business, and have since filled out professional roles as a copywriter, editor, and marketing manager. (I spend my spare time in the art studio — evenings and weekends and between meetings, if my schedule allows.)
Today, I am your go-to for everything creative and digital marketing. With a background in — and natural lean toward — editorial content (like long-form blog posts, interview-based and journalistic articles), I’m highly trained and skilled in sales copy, having generated up to $6 million for a single product launch via email campaigns, sales pages, and upsell strategies; taken a Twitter account page from 22k followers to 60k followers in under 18 months with strategic (all organic!) social campaigning; and managed content creation + distribution for a podcast receiving 80k downloads on average.
If you need help in copywriting or digital marketing (email campaigns, paid media, LinkedIn advertising, etc.), scroll up a bit. That’s me. And I’m your girl.
I’m certified in paid search (PPC) by Digital Marketing Institute; I’m also certified by DigitalMarketer Lab in direct-response copywriting, digital marketing, and social media marketing.
As I sit in that strange space between digital marketing and traditional art, I write about it (and something I call Creative Responsibility) on my blog. Become a Medium Member for $5/month to access any gated content (and to support!).
